John Samuels

John Samuels has lead a fairly standard life before he joined the force. Raised in Atlanta by a lower-middle class family, he had a good upbringing. Once he was old enough, he decided to join the police force, where's he's been ever since.

Despite his intimidating 6'2" frame, John is a kind-hearted man, and is generally averse to using lethal force, even when strict procedure would allow it. Besides being skilled at talking down criminals, he is also a skilled wrestler capable of restraining all but the toughest and largest of criminals. Once a resisting suspect is within arms reach, it's only a matter of seconds before he finds himself cuffed. Combined with him being faster and even stealthier than anyone his size has a right to, he has earned an exemplary record for taking criminals in unharmed.

Off the job, he is friendly and considerate, though he generally doesn't talk much. He often stops by Mac's for a bottle or two before retiring for the night.

John has recently been earning a reputation for being extraordinarily tough. Despite sustaining various wounds, he takes almost no time off to recover, and if his police reports are to be believed, he does not let little things like knife and bullet wounds, or falling dozens of feet stop him from acting.

He has also recently been getting a bit more dour. Word around the force is that this has to do with his slipping performance. While his day to day work is fine, murderers and other more serious criminals have regularly been escaping him.
